They want to tell us, that womeme were around major events and changed societies, but I cant believe it that easy. Is it a fact or were those few literate women we know about today, just toys of husbands and politicians?
P.S. I dont mean Queens or nobles wo just had some power to give orders. I refer to those thinkers or feminists like gouges or wollstonecraft etc.

A woman wrote Silent Spring which led to the modern environmental movement
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Spring
>In the late 1950s, Carson turned her attention to conservation, especially environmental problems that she believed were caused by synthetic pesticides. The result was Silent Spring (1962), which brought environmental concerns to the American public. Silent Spring was met with fierce opposition by chemical companies, but it spurred a reversal in national pesticide policy, led to a nationwide ban on DDT for agricultural uses,[2] and inspired an environmental movement that led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.[3][4]
Pretty much pissed off a lot of large chemical companies who claimed their products were safe
