Not really, they fucked things up more than they fixed them, especially in the mining industry. Even most WFM miners hated them for being ideologically driven fucktards.

That's not even remotely true. Once the WFM left the IWW it had already lost most of its leadership and ceased to be relevant in the country, especially to the miners that it once represented.
