Who do you think was more important in the formation of what we, today, know as Christianity: St. Paul or Constantine?
Definitely Constantine. Christianity would never have taken off as much as it did without him.

Constantine, Paul was the founder but without Constantine Christianity remains a religion for slaves and women.
Paul was the chosen one to deliver the Gospel to the Gentiles, there are very few in Christianity more important than him.

My pastor in college said the worst thing to ever happen to Christianity was Constantine's Conversion. He said that the enforcement of Christianity as the state religion of the Empire led to it having to be codified, and that that codification created a part of christianity that didn't exist. It turned Christianity from the teachings of Christ to an organized Religion.
