I like the idea that afterlife would repeat what you experienced in your real life, maybe in new order. That is fair system. You got for afterlife, perfectly what you deserved in your real life. Some kind of arbitrary punishment for sins seems to be unfair, if there is no law behind it, like eye for eye. Most simple scenario is that you just experience what other people experienced because of you. Like a some sort of a reverse golden rule. If you tortured people in your life, than your afterlife would be an endless torture, etc.

There are many planes of heaven and hell according to various hindu scriptures, and the afterlife doctrine is promoted by the church, and heaven in hell is not black and white in the bible. It is likely reincarnation is believed by early christian and jewish sections

I hope that there are infinities of other planes after death to live, that there is afterlife to your afterlife, and so on... I really hate the limited cosmology of Christianity and other religions where there is just our world, heaven and hell. Even in our world there exist billions of galaxies. It's pretty possible that a complexity doesn't collapse in a grand scale of all things and billions of various afterlife options exist in the same time.
