Most likely outcome:

Campaign of 1864 doesn't go as well as it did historically. Lincoln loses the election to McClellan, who manages to sign an armistice with the CSA. There might be some territorial concessions, reparations, etc, but you do have a viable south.

Everyone goes home. The North still has about 3-4 times the population, and will have much greater ease expanding westwards than the CSA. The confederates, in the meanwhile, with twin threats of their slaves from below and a resumption of the war with the North, would very rapidly militarize, probably becoming a kind of neo-sparta, with the white landowner elite being synonymous with military service. The Union also militarizes to a greater extent than historically, probably keeping a standing army around.

It's an unstable situation, and war breaks out again in another 5-10 years.
