Just turn around and moonwalk away.

It's not hard.

Try everything then return to point where you've started?

I think it depends on who your surrounded by - if you move to a new place with completely new acquaintances I imagine it to be much easier to change than if you were staying in the same place.
Though I'm sure there's a lot of philosophical stuff about personality which I am in no way qualified to talk about.

Can't go from Robot to Chad to a day.
Maybe a year, but really for some people it's a whole lifetime.
Very difficult
If you mean "permanent" change, then that requires a solid catalyst and a malleable mind.
If you mean a temporary one, then many people already do that on regular basis when they talk to different people.
Fake it til you make it.
Changing environments and acquitances helps a lot.
Pick any sort of figure you want to be and emulate it til it becomes natural for you.
Or try ego death.
Not that hard if you are into lobotomy.

Those're a lot of degrees to change through just to go back to the way you were. Why not change 0 degrees instead?
