Is it degenerate to splice cheap cannon sound effects into a symphony piece?
That depends on two factors
>does it hurt somebodies feelings
>if yes, does that person have an autism spectrum disorder
If both of these conditions are met, whatever you are doing is "degenerate"

Well, it's 2016. Where is an orchestra going to get actual, working cannon? And then, what idiot will actually give permission to shoot them during a show or recording session?

In the US, black powder cannons are unregulated because muh heritage.
I think there are still some companies who make proper field guns with the carriage and everything. It's expensive though.

Goddamn, it must suck to be everyone else in the entire world. Everyone who's not American is totally lame.

I am American, can confirm. I know a guy with a black powder cannon. I've lost touch with him lately but he used to let civil war reenactors borrow it. It's a real weapon, and it's totally awesome. Iirc he said it cost him $10k or so.

I don't get this picture. Obama showing respect to another leader, and Trump with a dumb look on his face (likely just a matter of the timing of the shot) shaking hands with another leader. What is the message supposed to be?
