When did you realize that capitalism is an inherently flawed system?
>>1646233
At the same time I realized that Communism is a much more flawed system that will never be achieved
>>1646233
Fuck off, /pol/.
>>1646233
When I realized that all my economics classes taught me about markets, not capital.
>>1646243
That's /leftypol/ by the way.
>>1646233
What kind of insane logic is that
People need capital to make productive investments
Banking redistributes capital from people who have spare money and no ideas to people with no money and good ideas
There's nothing occult about it
>>1646259
And those lending capital get more capital by virtue of owning capital. At that point capital becomes a goose that lays golden eggs.
>>1646251
Whatever. Nobody wants them here.
>>1646233
>inherently flawed
Yes because socialism and communism are working SO well.
How is Venezuela coming along?
>>1646285
How is it socialism if they can't even seize the means of production for toilet paper?
>>1646272
I know, I understand your pain. Actually I was primarily the one who pissed them all off so they came here and started to shit up our board.
So this is mostly my fault, sorry.
>>1646294
What exactly did you do?
>>1646264
Great, then. More golden eggs to go around.
People are inherently flawed, therefore any system we can come up with will also be flawed.
>>1646361
No, the owner of the goose gets the golden eggs. Everyone else has to work for their profit. You have to hope that you can gain enough success to buy your own goose.
>>1646368
People can develop societies that bring out the best instead of the worst in themselves.
It's the same way a parent rewards a child for being good and punishes them for being bad. The child will tend to do good and avoid doing bad.
Of course a parent that rewards a child for doing bad and punishes the child for doing good is going to end up with a child that does bad. The same goes for a society with perverse incentives that rewards people for doing bad.
The issue with capitalism is supporters will point out to when capitalism rewards people for doing good, when they work hard, add to society, and achieve success. Detractors will point out to when capitalism rewards people for doing bad, exploiting people, ripping people off etc.

capitalism is flawed the way marx defines it
but then you have to ask do these 'flaws' actually matter, what is the matter with 'surplus value' that is created in the employee/employer dynamic and does this matter considering the employer is putting far more at risk with the amount of money required to set up the company and the worker can switch jobs at no cost
>Capitalism
The best system we have derived so far
>Corporatism
Not.
