I prefer Evola, but Land seems more right in light of greater scientific understanding. He takes Machiavelli to a whole other level in an indifferent materialist/physicalist world.

However, my heart yearns for Evola to be right -- the desire for transcendental meaning is not something that can be easily eradicated.
