Can you recommend some historical fictional?
I'm looking for fiction set in either Ancient Near East, Ancient Greece, or Ancient Rome and are accurate to history.

I've not read anything stellar, but I can give views on two books that fit your description,
>Gates of Fire
by Steven Pressfield
It's the story about a helot who follows his master into the fightings of Thermopylae. It's very glorifying of Spartan culture but a damn fine adventure book.
>Empire of Ashes
by Nicolas Nicastro
Tells the story of a follower of Alexander. This book depicts Alexander's main drive as being his wish for a death in a glorious battle, knowing that all of his predecessors that have sat upon the macedonian throne have died from political assassination.

Mika Waltari obviously, particularly "The Egyptian" and "The Roman".

This, and:
> Creation (ancient Persia)
> Julian (Rome)
by Gore Vidal
> Quo Vadis: A Narrative of the Time of Nero
by Henryk Sienkiewicz
> I, Claudius
by Robert Graves
I really enjoy this series, it's a mostly historical fiction about Julius from a wee lad on, and any liberties he had to take in the story are noted at the end of each book.
Breddy gud battles too desu
Latro in the Mist - Gene Wolfe
Partly fantastical, very Herodotian

>Ancient Rome
Masters of Rome by Colleen McCullough is as good as it gets, and it's even fairly well written.
I, Claudius by Robert Greaves is also really good, but of course it's fairly speculative in how it represents relationships.
Cicero trilogy by Robert Harris is quite well written, but there were a few historical inaccuracies here and there. Very minor stuff tho.
Vespasian by Robert Fabbri is ok. Kinda plebby writing, but hey it's historical fiction.
Warrior of Rome by Harry Sidebottom is also ok.
Eagle series by Robert Scarrow is fucking shit, but somehow a lot of people like it so you might as well try it.
Augustus by John Williams, known for Stoner.
River God By Wilbert Smith glorious ancient egypt. He also has some good age of sail/colonisl africa novels
Shakespeare's Roman plays.
