That is a very personal question.
My answer would probably be because of the beautiful complexities of his creations. All of the little details of this world, when given proper attention, fascinate me.

It might sound a bit fedora but I'm surprised Christianity was able to become so popular for this reason.
You'd think the first question people would have upon being told the Creator is benevolent, omniscient, omnipotent, etc. and generally perfect is "why isn't the world perfect then? How does that make sense?"
