Why are Israelites suddenly the victims of antisemitism? Why can't I, a Greek philosopher, equally hate the other Semitic races?
Also Egyptians are kind of moneygrubbing too, to be quite honest, my fellow academics.

No one refers to Arabs as semites, despite that being technically correct. Antisemitism as its used today is a misnomer but so are a lot of things, not a big deal. The meaning is generally understood as prejudice towards Jews.
