Just graduated high school and am going to junior college to probably become a history teacher.
Two questions for anyone wanting to help me out:
1.) Should I go to school to become a professor or a high school teacher?
2.) Are there any other professions involving history?

Do you think you will enjoy living with your parents at the age of 28?
Do you enjoy working in the food service industry?
These are two questions you must ask yourself if you are to become a History major

>Should I go to school to become a professor or a high school teacher?
Do you have a desire to teach? Or would you prefer doing research work?
>Are there any other professions involving history?
Museums, archives, libraries.

What made you end up regretting it, if I might ask?

Kind of both to be honest. I love learning and reading about history just as much as talking about it, but I feel like being a high school teacher is a lot easier (not that I'm not willing to put effort into school if I choose the professor route).
history major master in philosophy reporting, just now sitting at lunch in a digital marketing firm as a unpaid trainee. No regrets. if you want to be a teacher, you're fine. I didnt want to be a teacher and i didn't have the motivation to be a researcher. At the end of the day, it's still a degree
