How is Joachim Murat generally remembered in history? What exactly did he do to make him a marshal of the empire? (If Im not mistaken he began his military career when he was 27 or something.)
How do Southern Italians/Neopolitans/Sicilians generally view him?
How did he compare to the other Marshals and what were their relationships like?
What was his relationship like with Napoleon?

He was generally regarded as a good general of cavalry as well as exceptionally brave - especially during his execution, however when Napoleon's defeat was inevitable after Leipzig he made a deal with the Austrians so that he could remain King of Naples and essentially sided with the Coalition. However upon the return of Napoleon from Elba he joined his side once again.
