Treasure Hunting/Found Treasure thread?
One time in Central Mexico with my uncle, we came across a rusty Spaniard sword and a pouch that had some coins and a strange mask made of rock with horns on it.
Would love to find more stuff, but have no idea where to start looking.

Digging with my cousin as a kid and we found some ancient pottery
I'd be pretty swell being a treasure hunter.

Does looking through your grandparents stuff count? After my grandfather passed away I found stuff from when he served a tour of duty in the pacific during the 50's. I found bullets(including a couple .50 caliber), mittens and a metal cup that they issued to soldiers.

Here in the Philippines, in my home province, the town I grew up in used to overturn Chinese graves all the time, who are buried in urns next to porcelains and bits of silver.
Since the are I lived in back then used to be a trading post during the 1400s-1500s, in which Merchant Clans in China would send members of their family to live abroad so as have a foot in the door of Southeast Asian trade. My town was in the mouth of a major river that went inland into the Southern Luzon islands and so they set up post there with permission from the local warlords.
