Greetings /his/torians. I am a big fan of the Extra History show on youtube. Their stories are interesting and seemingly educational but I would like to know what you all think.
Most importantly, is the information accurate? Biased at all?
I enjoy them and feel like they have taught me a lot and helped me get more into my favorite periods of history, but what are the facts?
if you're hoping to have a great understanding of history by watching internet videos then it's not going to work

They're accurate as far as I'm concerned, but they don't go in-depth into any subject they discuss. They provide a great intro to a specific subject, but don't rely on them for details. Read a book instead.
I find they are a good springboard to greater understanding. They aren't incredibly in depth, but they are very good for introducing you to areas of history you may never of studied on your own, and get you interested in them.
