Contrary to popular belief sex is not just for the sole purpose of procreation in Christianity. In fact, it also serves the purpose of forming a bond between a man and a women thus laying foundation for a happy family life.

If the woman (or the man) has had a lot of extra/pre maritial partners, the sex will lose it's ability to bond them together plus those people tend to have a lot of emotional baggage thus weakening the foundation of what could have been a happy family life
