Zizek is no revolutionary -- he'll raise calls to action every so often like any good Marxist, but provides a predominately static philosophy of how capitalism does what it does. Zizek is specifically useful in cataloguing the specific ramifications of post-Cold War neoliberalism on our culture, politics, and mentation.

Zizek would definitely like to be at the reigns of a socialist society, as he is somewhat egocentric and very aware of his own ability.
