At what point does life-apologetics become reconcilable with

Suicide is an act of weakness. While acts of weakness have their place in reform and revolution (satyagraha), suicide in general is expressed for no purpose but selfishness - "I am suffering, so I will end my own suffering." When undertaken for oneself, it inevitably ignores all others.

One may ask as well what is so distasteful about ultimate isolation or complete mental solitary confinement.

Yes its a good question if life is so brilliant then why shouldn't one be able to exist in a state of unconditional equanimity rather than experience various forms of deprivation through boredom or ennui or malaise or even hunger?

Actually it's some sort of rather impressive accomplishment where someone with little to no willpower or motivation manages to override the instincts produced by millions of years of selection against self-destructive behavior. I'm sure this is beyond you though.
