Fuck Alain, any channel that tries to distill anything important into a 3 minute video.

Some of these concepts need at least an hour to explain properly, tease out subtleties, etc.

Figured it'd be easier to post in this thread rather than start another. Would anyone mind posting a book recommendation for an intro to philosophy or a Recommended reading order? I'm not sure if I should start with Greek philosophers or just dive into a topic of interest. Thanks a bunch in advance.

The Trial of Socrates (Plato's dialogues Euthyphro, Apology, Crito, Phaedo) is the best place to start IMO.
Unless you want to start with the Pre-Socratics, but most people don't enjoy them for being "wrong"
