the word hero has gotten so abused that in my country girls who got bullied for being fat or some shit like that now are automatically hailed as heroes by the press and all the other weak-minded people that they'd probably think we deserved to be driven into the sea

the problem of the hedonist is that he despises his life, to the point of constantly transforming his life.

The problem of the hedonist is that he thrives on excitements (his or the ones of others) (when he has the means), or he is averse to pains, to the points of spending his days to get the means to be a successful hedonist (without thinking that the lassitude is integral to hedonism. The day that you bear the lassitude, the day where you bear the lack of excitement, is the day where you know that hedonism is a misery).
this refusal of the eternal return is what we have been having in the various liberal humanismS, for a few centuries.

the hedonist is the last man. last men want to be satisfied (inside their hedonistic perspective) AND for a few, to be satisfied of equal manners.
