Was it a false-flag?

Yes
>>
>>1251114
No
>>
>>1251114
Maybe
>>
Probably either a steam boiler blowing up (which happened constantly back then) or some retard smoking around the magazine.
>>
>>1251114
Let's talk talk about it
>>
>>1251114
Possibly. There's conflicting data.
>>
>>1251114

I don't know
>>
It doesen't matter. Spain is shit and the USA is great so we do what we want and take what we want.
>>
I thought that they actually did an investigation at the time before war started and they admitted that the cause was internal but the US ignored it
>>

Currently writing a research paper on the Maine now. Honestly, we still don't know for certain, all we do know is that it was not Spain, now that does not mean that it wasn't an external explosion. It could've been Spanish nationalists not working for the government, which is extremely unlikely, a more likely source of the external sources was Cuban rebels who wanted to get the US involved. For a good argument about an internal cause read Admiral Rickover's book on the USS Maine
>>
Most likely a coal dust explosion accident.

Never forget that it was Spain who declared war first.
>>
Happy accident
>>

Obviously.

Boston Tea Party, Alamo, Fort Sumter, the Maine, Pearl Harbor, 9/11.

America loves false-flagging/deliberately letting things happen.
