What are your toughts on the ideas of original national socialism?

I personally think that their main ideas were pretty straight forward, but they drifted it into something different

Reaction to the shit economic and political conditions in post-WWI Germany. When things are hard people tend to get more extreme, in either direction, which is why you saw the radical left (communists) and right (fascists) explode in popularity in the Weimar Republic.

Pretty garbage. But it was more understandable when WW1 germany was put into context.

Germany is a shithole, got blamed for WW1, has low national pride, and this addresses all three. It got turned pretty quick to another thing which is finding an enemy to assert themselves over.

yeah and a fascist one too. Also the conflicts and "war" that /pol/ (and some people in general) likes to claim happened before were mostly nonviolent and economics related. Not literally warfare. For example, in response to Hitler winning, before hitler did anything they launched a "war against germany" that was essentially a ton of boycotts. This is also understandable because Hitler was running on a largely anti-jewish platform and his book didn't paint them in a very good light either.

Anyways, I could go more into that but its not on topic so basically the original ideas were based on increasing national pride and productivity and probably were good. But your economy doesn't run on pride and it overstayed its welcome.

Which they never actually did, and basically abandoned early on in the war. In fact, they were greeted as liberators from Soviet oppression. Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of Soviet citizens fled to their lines to seek shelter.

Is that why it took four world powers, and countless other nations, to beat them?

Not even /pol/ here, but before he started the war the economic turnaround that Germany had under National Socialism was miraculous. The New Deal doesn't even compare.
