It wouldn't change the outcome of the European theatre much. It would however put Japan in an interesting place. They would either be tolerated and supplied by the allies, who could've let them keep all territorial gain in China granted they stop taking Allied territory OR could've made Japan a wildcard fighting everyone.

No japanese invasions and expansion in asia was seen as a significant threat to european powers even before the rise of the axis. So the pacific war would have still happened but the Americans would be hesitant to join the european front. So Nazi Germany although still losing the war would have still existed and had a significantly better peace offer than in our timeline.

Yes but so was Soviet expansion. Defeating the Nazis became top priority. In fact the Soviets were a bigger threat than Imperial Japan and if the Allies would work with them, they'd find a way to work with Russia.

The Japanese had been rubbing up against the United States in the Pacific ever since after the First World War. The Soviets weren't seen as a bigger threat until they conquered East Germany. In the long run the Allies saw their danger, but Japan was more imminent.

Not to mention that the embargo on Japan that almost completely led to Pearl Harbor had nothing to do with Germany or the Western Front. In fact, I am pretty sure the Export Control Act was signed before Japan joined the Axis. As was the cancelling of the US's 1911 trade agreement with Japan.

China, even when in a civil war, was more capable of fighting the Soviet and Allies in Asia. The only downsides were warlords and shitty equipment and officals, which Germany were helping to improve.
Or they could have continued to deliver goods to Germany, which Japan promised but never deliverd after conquring parts of China.
The nationalists could have been the most usefull ally to Germany, however, they would probably never be much of use because they would most likly fight Japan thruout the war, unless German officals and aid somehow turned the tide against Japan before 1941.
The Nationalists would never back down from fighting the USSR, because that would boost Chiang's legitimacy by winning major victories against imperialists powers.

Depends, if German aid continued the Chinese Nationalists would probably win the civil war.

If the Nationalists actually joined the war and the axis still lost, then nothing would change, except China becoming communist through USSR intervension.
