I put pet play into a similar category with littles. I'm fucking an adult consenting human that wants to act and be treated like a lesser being than their dom/master for sexual and psychological gratification. As long as its compartmentalized to the bedroom or private time together its fine. When you have someone who wants to take it public and 24/7 where you are exposing it to people who havn't consented to that kind of scene then its fucking weird and crosses a line. Your going to think I'm nuts but I think everybody that is interested in BDSM or already participating in it should play table top(pen&paper) role playing games. Not a sexualized game either. Straight pg-13/R rated with anything intimate off screen. Focus on the roleplay , how to avoid metagaming, on following the rules and how to compromise on the rules. Look into both aspects as a player and as a game master/dungeon master. There are parallels to kink power exchange as well as collaborative role play. It will teach you a shit ton of how to plan out your Kink and compartmentalize it. Lots of rules and boundaries in the games where if you cross a line no one gets hurts but you learn what you did wrong. Dungeons & Dragons/Call of Cthulhu(Basic RolePlaying System). Its also interesting to see what your sub or Dom does in the game, especially if they are in the GM role. You can gauge a lot about a person by the type of character they are attracted to playing and how they play it or how the GM/DM runs the game(fair, authoritarian, megalomaniac, petty, ect). It reveals more than people realize. I'm wary of people that are too good at roleplaying games and switch characters too easily....they can lie too well and you have to be more cautious with them.

Collars can just be found at any pet store. Ears +tail can be found in any costume shop. Buy a buttplug off of amazon-- don't make your own. Attach the tail to the plug using glue (with the one I did for my gf I also did a rope binding). Most other equipment you need can either be found on Amazon or in a pet store.
