If that isn't hentai, where's the line, do characters have to screw all the time with ahegao and screaming "oh yeah, fuck me silly"? For me, it's always hentai when sex is an essential part and is fully depicted, while ecchi is more subtle and not as explicit in the sex scenes. To classify Nozoki Ana as "ecchi at best" is an understatement.

I get that cenorship is in most hentai to some degree or another but the fact that no part of the dick, the vagina or any other part of intercourse is never directly shown and is allways either off frame or simply not drawn makes it pretty close to not being a hentai to me.

The other part is the "pacing" (for lack of a better word) of the sex scenes, in most hentai each sex scene is designed in the following way.

1: Establish some kind of erotic setting or good ecchi to get the watchers dick woken up
2: Lots of visual stimulus nut never getting too intense, to get the watcher to the point of climax, focus is equal parts on visual stimulus and characters/setting
3: Focus goes entirerly on stimulus and it displays it's most stimulating and "dirty" visuals in order to tip the watcher over the edge and give them a satisfying fap.

Nozoki Ana does none of this and reading it, it becomes pretty clear that the author does not intend for the person reading it to have a satisfying wank whilst doing so, the porn is there to keep attention whilst the story is displayed.
For these reasons, I'd say it's not a hentai and just ecchi.

ShindoL's TSF Monogatari also explored the pregnancy and motherhood aspect but I feel it's overshadowed by Takumi being a submissive cum dump. While that is not necessarily a bad thing, how they are presented is different from each other.
