What particular voice works do you use to help you sleep, or relax/destress?

Personally I'm annoyingly picky about which voice works I do and don't like since as a musician, mixing and mastering is important to me. And sometimes the tone or quality of a voice work (not going in to even mention the frustration of an on edge, pitched voice character) can really set me on edge, or stress me out somewhat. Even with voice works some might consider a classic. However, I do primarily listen to voice works for R&R. So on that note, I thought I'd share with you two of my favorite voice works for mental declutter. And see what you guys have to say on the matter yourselves.

For sheer quality I'd go with open-ear headphones. I'm currently using Sennheiser HD600s. The downside is that they're hard/uncomfortable to use lying in bed. I also move around a lot in my sleep. For that reason, I use IEMs for listening at night.

Fuck yeah. That + elec hair clippers, the bad is that those parts are almost always too short.

For me, Tendou Renge is the absolute best for relaxing among all of the works I've listened to so far. I haven't listened to the Cure work you listed nor the rain spirit one, I'll have to check them out. The latest Cure work was fine on the mixing, but a ton of the older ones have tracks that just hurt to listen to. I might do a write up on all the ones I've listened to so far, later in the thread.

RJ173774 is my favorite work from Tendou Renge. The bell sounds that come from her shaking her wrist are just super soothing.

RJ134478 is an amazing work for putting yourself to sleep. I listened to this back before I knew any Japanese and it still put me into a really deep sleep. I felt like a million bucks after I woke up.

As for recently, I've been re-listening to the bonus track in RJ181485 on repeat. It took me a few listens to figure out it was a butt massage; now I just need to find out why she's bringing up hamsters. The oil sounds effects are really nice and it's mixed nicely so it doesn't blow out your ears at any point.

What the fuck is this? I can play it in WMP, but it is weird. it isn't an MP3 it is just listed as File under the type. The picture was as well, but i just opened it up in paint and then saved it as a new file and deleted the old one. I opened it into audacity but I could only do it as raw data. However, everything I did resulted in static sounds and not the original audio. The only thing I could have tried, but didn't was save the static as an MP3 and see if it turned out normal. I guess I could also upload the file to a mp3 conversion site and see if that makes a difference, but I don't know.

Listened to RJ198712, it was alright for me. It was mixed well and there wasn't anything wrong with it, I'm just not a huge fan of barbershop noises. This and Cure Aroma are the only two Cure series works that I haven't needed to adjust the volume to avoid painful sound levels.

So far I've listened to RJ20483 in completion. It wasn't bad but the lack of SFX and binaural audio made it lackluster. It would have been fantastic with those.
