So I uh, updated to the newest Honey Select by downloading the patches one by one in chronological order until I was caught up. Starting up Battle Party updated all my cards and now they don't even load into regular Honey Select, so I swapped back to the old ones, but they display like this.


Anyone know how I'd be able to get my cards working again? I can use them fine in Studio, which is nice. It's just that I'm worried about making new ones.

What's the problem if cards don't show up in the character creator? I only have the fully updated backup and the obligatory plugins installed. No hair or clothes.

The only cards that work are really old ones, like the default and Sitri. The new cards that come with the game, マリオン and 御武弥生 don't even show up.

It's okay, I think the part that gets me is that their noses are too small, like most "beautiful" girls in vidya, which has a lot of character designers associated that quality with always attributing that to factor beauty, but I felt as though the characters could have their faces switched and nothing noticeable would change.

And yes, a giant bull nose isn't pretty, western character designers are proof of that, but that doesn't mean only button nosed girls are the true standard of beauty. There needs to be balance.

You might be right about that. I have a lot more cards I didn't post, and some of them have more noticeable differences in their faces, but I don't like them as much. I'm not sure what it is but I find it harder to make good faces with certain proportions. I feel like I get too much uncanny valley if I try to make the faces too realistic.

Got a quick question. Is the newest DLC compatible with ItemResolver?

The full backup install seemed to work perfectly fine, and I noticed it had some rather nifty accessories such as mech parts. When I added my asset collection and ran the item resolver, I noticed a lot of those accessories were overwritten.

Do you know how to repackage mods?

Chara holds the texture and meshes, list folder holds the I'd to tell the game what to load and in what order. To verify the [NAME] of the mod, use hsSlotid. Find the way it shows up in your game "-090003" and make sure your looking for the right [NAME].UNITY3D file in your folders.

You probably won't do this, but this is just an FYI for people who have this problem in the future.
