The game supports room scale VR and as such, allows you to enter accurate measurements for characters.

You know those Bust, Waist, Hip measurements that you see posted on wikipedia pages for characters? They can actually be adjusted in the game's character creator to match how they would appear were the character real.

But even if you're not interested in VR most manga style characters can be created provided you can find a mod that matches their look.

Honey Select is pretty basic, there's more "game" here. You run a maid mansion /whore house and you have to create and train all your girls and get the place out of debt. I've seen a lot of mods for anime characters floating around, the creation is pretty good. But your not going to make a non anime character, or something out of the norm in some weird art style.

Hey, I have a troubleshooting question.

So a while back, I started adding more DLC, and added those little minigames. All of the DLC installed and ran properly, but when I tried to run one of the minigames, it crashed. When I tried to start up the regular game after that, it refused to run, giving me some moonrune error message which I should have copied but didn't. So I figured I needed to do a fresh install, but the HD with my backup files died.

Fast forward to today and I've gotten everything back and reinstalled, but now when I try to run it I get a yotogi parse error. I'm running in japlocale, did something get fucked in the registry?

Nah, it's been a slow for all boards today. CM3D2's biggest issue is its accessibility. Even people who know what they are doing become confounded when a new patch releases and everything breaks.

Personally I've just been too busy behind the scenes to maidpost.

Follow the guide. Simply goes Base Game, Plus/Act packs, DLC, update 1.12, update 1.48, then finally use the Sybaris starter pack. Do not use the HF patch. Make sure your PC is set to Japanese locale, don't use hfapplocale

That's a texture error. It's caused by a texture not loading properly as a result of a system not being able to read Japanese unicode.

While the game's official files are written in latin characters, mods are often written in Japanese characters. Your system is not displaying textures that have Japanese characters in their filenames because your locale was not set up correctly.

This was a case of user error. Even with everything provided in a clean state someone would still get errors if they insisted on running the game without a Japanese locale or by using plugins that are incompatible with update 1.50.

On 1.50 and seen it before, the game's positioning and collision isn't always entirely on point. It isn't the case for everything and largely you shouldn't notice, but when you do it does get annoying since you can't help but see it. Trying to reposition with plugin keys tends to make matters worse.

It really varies, like irrumato kneeling has her knees and feet perfectly lined up with the floor, but this and on the bed are a little above. You have to really be looking for it though since they're fine from most angles. It could be as much just a buffer for animated joints and hair to not clip straight through surfaces as anything.

Reminds me of trying to position characters in the bar and they end up having to float since seats are too big or the bar is really high up and long. It's fine when it's unobtrusive.

While it's true that DLC can be installed in any order keep in mind that some DLC benefits from having an updated game.

For example if you were on 1.30 and you install a DLC from 1.40 it may not load correctly.

Doing well, but I really need to get back to posing OC maids. Putting together torrent took a really long time.

An English version of MultipleMaids v20 is being worked on(by someone else) and when it's complete will probably make another Sybaris Starter pack that includes it and the recently updated/translated ShapeAnimator and ACC.

Tekken 7 also releasing today makes me wish days were 27 hours long.

I just reinstalled last night, its become like my 2-3 hour ritual every few months, and I'm amazed at how well supported this game is. Seems like there's always new stuff to come back to. I don't know why they refuse to sell this in the US, even illusion tried to green light their shitty VR game on steam.

One of the biggest things that kills me. Not so much in CM3D2 as just generally, fear and doubt unto loathing and frustration is just a pretty vicious downward spiral.

From someone who can't take their own advice then, try not to worry about it too much. You have people here for support and the means to just switch off and systematically push through it. Erring on neutral certainly isn't going to upset anything and any sustained effort is worth a lot in its own right.

That's the thing that always gets me with CM3D2. The upkeep, especially if you get a taste of the modding scene, is a far bigger commitment than the time it takes to unpack and install the initial files. This isn't just a meido waifu simulator, when you chose to get invested in CM3D2, it can become your wife.

Quick question, how far translated is CM3D2? Wondering if I'll be able to read all the "story" and dialog with the maid since that adds an extra layer of frosting for my heart boner.

I have plenty of ideas and scripts to work from but it feels like it takes me about two hours per scene on average. I usually do 4 panel comics so it all ends up being around 8 hours total(usually spread across two days.) Maybe if I cared about quality less I could produce them quicker, but I have pretty strict guidelines I tend to follow before I consider an image complete.

Most of the nonpersonality specific story for the vanilla game has been translated. There are lots of things said in the interviews for all of the personalities so only a few of them have been translated.

So you can play through the majority of the story up until Act 2 with an idea of what's going on.

Unmodded there's only several faces. With mods there's over 40 presets of faces easy. Though some are sort of slight variations of eachother, think faces for AA2 's mods if you played that. Actual face customization is rather simple.

Then there's MultipleMaids mod which has sliders for facial expressions. There's some other mods that goes even further (letting you do blowjob expressions and such), but I have no idea how they work.

I updated it to 1.5.1, downloaded and activated all DLC's by hand and put the Sybaris starterpack in the files. After the interview with the maid, the other maid is saying something that i look tired and it abruptly cuts to black, i can hear music but nothing is happening. It doesnt "crash" it just stops.

Most game-stopping conflicts and UI glitches are due to content not maintained by KISS, which is all in Sybaris, yes. Thankfully the HF patch is so obsolete that can't even be a possibility anymore.

The next step is to run trial and error on it. Apply a fresh starter pack, start it up. Assuming you had any mods in the first place, put your old GameData folder in and start, put your old plugins folder in and start. If it hangs after any of these stages, you're on to something.

If you can get past the interview without Sybaris and can't with a clean Sybaris starter then something went wrong or Sybaris download was corrupted, doesn't make much sense. I updated to 1.51 which was just some S maid script fixes and no problem here so it's not a universal version issue. When in doubt, do it over more carefully.

This should be the fix for it provided everything else has been done correctly. Just a heads up for those trying to fix this problem: DELETE the outdated Sybaris folder and opengl32.dll from the CM3D2 root installation first then drag&drop the updated starter pack. mind resets on pose change so you may want to save a good chunk of it for cumming
every action affect reason and only a few give you reason (ex. stop action)
there are poses that are used for gaining some reason in between fucking (sweet pose, sexy pose etc.)
stamina is only used when you set the poses (just keep <= 1, but there is an achievement for fainting)

you might also want to press f5 and dont mind those values and just have a good fap

You'll be able to get around the menu, plus most of the game consists of a metric ton of dialogue. So yea, unless you know moon there really isn't nothing in terms of dialogue.
