I shouldn't have said this RSS feed was perfect last thread, because this isn't working as well as I thought it was working. None of my filtered RSS feeds are updating anymore, so I'm working on a userscript to track updates on tags/artists locally instead of relying on a feed. It's pretty much a hacky way to implement a subscribe button for searches.

It works by searching for what you followed, looking at the "Showing 1-25 of ###" near the top and then comparing ### to what it was previously. Say your followed search had 28 results on Tuesday. You run the script on Friday, and the search now has 31 results. The script will tell you that there are 3 new galleries since you last checked (without having to search for it yourself).

Some things to note, the folder name represents the obvious name "LP". The number of doujins or works inside the folder "184" (there's also a note from the orginal owner making it 185 files, I didn't know whether or not to delete it) and the month, date, and year it was archived or placed inside a .rar "05032017". Why I named it this way is because I was hoping people could just pass this folder around and upload it to other places and add any works that's not in the folder and change the name to show that more has been added or changed. To make 1 big Linda archive folder to put it simple since this is most likely nowhere near all of his works but probaly the biggest I've seen atleast. If someone does make any changes to the folder(adding more, name changes, ect.) then I probably won't be the one hosting it, that's why its probably a good idea to spread or upload the Linda folder else where.

When I originally got this folder from piratebay, a lot of the folder names were really off and bugged me so I had to correct them the best way I could. I tried to make it like how you would see it if you went to sadpanda or some other doujin site since barly any site had a decent naming structure for Linda's works. If anyone feel the need to correct them please do so and change the folder name to show its been changed. This is mainly why I didn't use a torrent.

Okay, I'm finished with the proof of concept for the userscript. It's a little different from HWatch and the RSS feed because it let's you track ANY search on EH rather than being limited by tags.

The numbering in the packlist is not the same as the order Fakku released them in. I added the first 1000 archives all at once, and they got numbered alphabetically. Next, I added 1001-(whatever was out at the time), and those are also numbered alphabetically.
Now, there's a script checking every 12 hours which will add any new files. Each batch of files that gets added is sorted alphabetically within itself.
So like, if there's n files, numbered 1-n, and then it adds m more files, those m files are sorted relative to each other, and then given the numbers n+1, n+2, ... m.
Let me know if iroffer has an option number things by 'Fakku release date' instead of alphabetically.

I'm using hydrus. I have a folder I use to temporarily save images before I import them all at once, then I delete them from that folder. When I start the hydrus client after a shutdown, it populates the temp folder with copies of THE ENTIRE DATABASE. This is somewhat less than desirable, and I haven't been able to find out in the help pages what the deal is.

Is this the thread to ask questions about scanning doujins? I've got a small bunch that still haven't been scanned, but I'm not too sure how to upload and get the best quality. My scanner doesn't save as png, only jpeg, bitmap, and tiff, so I'm not too sure which to use. Also, what's the optimal DPI to can with? I was thinking 300 or 600, but again, I haven't done this much. I scanned a few pages of the GRASSHOPPER doujin from the group 血色蜜柑, but it's nearly 100MB in a bitmap format at 600DPI and something tells me I'm doing something wrong.

Also, if I use the archive download option, will I get the best possible download avaliable from sadpanda, or will it still have the sites down sampling?If anyone can help me at all I'd really appreciate it.

I just downloaded Pandaviewer and I'd like to redownload all of my tags for accuracy purposes, since like only 40% of my stuff has any metadata. But it always tells me, that my account/password combination is wrong? Do I have to insert my normal exhentai log in or something different? I am kind of confused here.

I recommend scanning the black and white pages in 300 DPI in .tiff. I usually scan color pages in 600 DPI because I do post editing tinkering but you should be fine with 300 DPI.

You can later on batch convert the .tiff files into .png using for example Irfanview.

1. Download and open Process Monitor
2. Add three include filters: (Process Name contains HDoujin), (Operation is RegSetValue), (Operation is WriteFile)
3. Download some gallery with the program
4. Watch what the program writes (never bother checking what it reads)
It's a combination of registry keys, local files and a file kept in the system's Temp directory

Anyone else having issues on Firefox? Whenever I click on an image on sadpanda, it only loads like half of it, sometimes even less. I can't get it to load a full image?

cbz are just renamed zip files. You could unzip it and then zip it with higher compression, but images are already compressed, so there won't be a huge amount of saving.
You could also try to compress the images themselves better, using something like pngcrush or optipng. This will probably take much longer, but could have more space savings (though only if the original uploader hasn't already compressed their images well).
As for the path error, perhaps the folder name + file name is too long. Is it one of those galleries with a really long name, like "Ore_No_High_School_RomCom_Where_All_The_Girls_Want_My_D_And_My_Imouto_Is_Now_My_Kanojo?!/Ore_No_High_School_RomCom_Where_All_The_Girls_Want_My_D_And_My_Imouto_Is_Now_My_Kanojo?!_page1.png"
