yes i pushed out a new yandere scene finally since i figured i should get one last thing in before the game before it inevitably gets broken in the next update... heh

As for shelling out, you don't have to as long as you either purchased the game while under an account or create a new account using the same email used to initially purchase the game, all updates are a free download after that. current version is 1.9.2.
although keep in mind that there will be a new update somewhere in the near future that will not be compatible with any old version saves as far as we know.

when you load the game it will likely look pretty broken, just click around in the menu till you get the "Go out" options
go out with Sylvie then change your mind and that should reload everything and fix the menu

To be totally fair to Ray, it's more that TyranoScript broke everyone's saves. Updating the TS engine gives access to lots of new features that will likely make future development simpler and allow for new functionality, but it also breaks saves from older versions as a side effect.

There's a Spanish APK for the current version, but to put it in English will require some work. The guy who was trying went MIA after discovering that just replacing the files with the English TL patch didn't work, so I don't know what exactly is causing the problem. I have a theory but without someone to test it I can't be sure.

I appreciate it. Where I left off with the other Android dude was replacing the Spanish 1.9.2 APK's files with the TL patch, and then opening first.ks and commenting out (semicolon) the translate.ks line to see if the game would boot.

If it does, then the issue is that the translation script we use is incompatible with Android, and thus the translations have to be backported into the actual KS files. Most of this can be done programmatically, but there are a few bits which will require some manual care. Not a big deal.

If on the other hand the game does not boot afterwards, then it's back to square one. I believe there's a debug mode available that works in Android, though, so that'd be my next shot.

What's the code for the flowers? I lost the code when I replaced the old folder.

It's likely more stable, but some of the newer features in the staging versions might help get it running. No luck here yet, but that's mostly because this old laptop is a piece of shit that needs a lot of babying to boot and an external hard drive, mouse (that it won't accept the right clicks of), and keyboard (with only 3 usb ports, no less). That being said, I'd forgotten how much better Nemo was of a file manager than anything MS has shat out.

Alright. So, I've essentially had a hands-on crash course in the ways linux can not like what you do because you didn't do one little thing, and I have a far more recent version of wine. Seems to handle anything else I throw at it, but I'm having the same issue as you are with the black screen.
Testing out the nw.js bit right now. I will note that the libs.js file it wants you to edit is written differently now than it was then, and I don't have the js knowledge to know whether to alter it or not. In fact, adding the linux bits it suggested caused it to hang on me while loading TyrannoScript. So, I'm not sure quite what to do at this point outside of setting up a windows virtual machine to run it in, which may be the simplest answer, although it feels like giving up. Any way to be with Sylvie, though, right?

The main reason for the fix happening was so people could use apostrophes and the like without crashing the game.

Linuxanon here with an update!

I switched from wine-staging to Wine 2.01 Stable, due to testing with other games.....and it tuns out, the prepatched version anon uploaded a few threads ago works completely out of the box(.rar)! Saving/Loading has no issues, no need to paste the script into tyrano/libs.js, no VM mode needed, It Just Werks™.

At this point, I know better than to tempt fate so I'm not gonna think about it too much. Just one minor issue though, I don't think the font is supposed to look like this, any idea how to change it?

I have .xdelta patches for updating untouched DLsite zips 1.9.x (1-2 MB each), and I can make a 1.8.3 to 1.9.2 xdelta which would take 100-200 MB probably, but 1.8.2 is too old.

Legit customers have to redownload the whole gigabyte every time it gets updated as well.

no H but i enjoyed it, its pretty short and some might find the art style off-putting
