Anyone think hentai used to be better? My only exposure to it

Can't disagree, I think a lot of it is because these days its so easy to obtain it for free vs obtaining it in a way that actually benefits the creators. Not much incentive to dump a lot of time and money into something if its not going to make much in return.

I only like poro because a lot of the new shit is "tweened" animation (not sure what people call it now but it is like flash tweening sort of). Like anything that is "xxxxx (THE ANIMATION)" is basically /h/ shots that are edited to make them seem like they are moving by stretching the dimensions and moving limbs without redrawing the whole char. I mean poro is bland and shit as fuck but out of the new releases they are at least decent.

its just less budget, back in the days they had room to animate a story and good scenes. nowadays is just a loop and generic stuff.
