WIP for a Kyoudai no Kankei hmv, so far it's just bare minimum syncing to bars but not beats.

I've put most of the hj/bj stuff within that first minute and a half but there's a lot of penetration that's gonna need a second song.

But anyways, what do you think about the progression of clips so far? I've always been a fan of the KaKa style clip progression but I'm trying something different.

As a matter of fact, it did. It had a bit of a problem though - it was intended to start running September 14th, 2001 in Canada, which was a bit of a thing, what with those pesky airplanes, considering that the movie plot is based on terrorism. It ended up being pulled from a larger release in the US, or being run at all in Canada, finally running in December, 2001, but by that point, it had missed its window, and far fewer theatres were interested in bumping christmas product for a depressing movie about terrorists, suicide, and a complicated about being caught between terrorists and counter-terrorists.

I think I still have the screener in my basement at home.

It is a good movie, regardless.

we now have an hmv section and you can upload vids directly on the site as long as they are under 200 mb and in mp4 format.

I uploaded a video from Ayachuco to test it out and worked fine.
We already have a few hmv creators uploading and i'm updating the site weekly with new features.

The site will stay add free as i hate what adds do to websites.

Create an account and post in the hmv thread on the forum with links to your work. I will then grant you the creator role so you can upload vids.

I got nothing against your site, good luck with it. The streaming bit is good. I can see that being attractive to editors. Some nice fella once made an HMV Tube site but then it went down. Maybe this is a sort of replacement for that. But I also understand the argument that other than that, it's pretty redundant and HMV fans may not be keen of further decentralizing HMVs and their editors. I suppose you can never have too many depositories though. But I'm sure you can certainly sympathize that some see you as sort of recruiting editors away from the /h/ HMV threads. If you're trying to make another place to store HMVs like beeEAZY, that's fine, but if you're trying to get editors to leave here for your place, that's a dick move. Boredom--I wanted to see if putting music over H scenes made them any hotter. Syncing the action to the beat was an accident. I liked the result then tried to recreate it and get more precise.

Before Vegas I was rendering clips equivalent to every 4/4 measure of the song/video trying to get the sync right, because Video Edit Magic's preview is not an accurate representation of the final render. Sony Vegas' preview IS an accurate representation of the final render, so finally I could trust my eyes/ears without having to verify every 4 seconds of progress with another goddamn clip render.

I could have saved so much fucking time if I had been a smarter person. I think the first one I made with Vegas might be Lord of the Pies, when I look in my folder everything else has a WMV and that's Video Edit Magic's format. It can't render Mp4s like Vegas can.

I have a folder in the mega link, in which 7 of my 8 HMVs are already, I don't know where you get those 2 from.
And you're right I don't cater to anon's tastes or anyone's really, but there are things you can criticize in an HMV, that aren't about personal preferences like what Hardo criticized about my latest HMV or what somebody said about the zoom-ins in Pink Sex. Those are mistakes, that have not really anything to do with "taste" and so far every time somebody mentioned them, I already wasn't sure about them, while I was still editing the HMV. Having the confirmation that it wasn't good afterwards helps to not make them again.

Not sure if people know this, but if your CPU is weak but you have a decent nvidia GPU, you can use that GPU to speed up your encoding time with ffmpeg.

I believe the call is -c:v h264_nvenc or -c:v h265_nvenc depending on which codec you want to use.

If people are put off by ffmpeg, there's also Xmedia Recode which has a gui interface that gives lots more options to users.

As a 4+ year lurker, I always saw the 'muh male vocals' meme grow out of a hatred for the shitty nasally rappers and horrible grunty metal vocalists that kept popping up in hmvs, but the idea that male vocalists immediately ruin any hmv is just untrue, at least in my experience.

Male vocals can work, AYA used '6 Shooter' in his Swing Out Sisters HMV to great effect, LordFap used 'Handclap' in his Overwatch video, and there are a ton of great HMVs with Robert Vadney's 'Smashing the Opponent' remix, to name a few.

I figured that between Jim Morrison's buttery vocals, and The Captain's funky remix skills (he made the 'Dope Rider' remix from the end of Aya's Kuroinu HMV), the song was good enough to warrant it's use. I still do.

But that opinion is based on my personal experience and tastes, if anons feel that all male vocals (including the above examples) instantly ruin an HMV, I'll avoid them. Although, I'd much prefer if people would criticize the specific singer or song, since 'ew male vocals' is just a lazy critique.

All that said, I'm already working on the next video, it's along the lines of my Justice video, and it definitely won't have male vocals in it.

Hearing a girl's voice naturally makes men interested unlike male vocals which kinda just ruins the immersion of fucking what's shown in the video so it rarely gets positive reviews.

Those hmvs you've used as examples are indeed one of the few when male vocals worked. Sadly the likelihood of me using them as fap material is slim given the better choices of hmvs with female vocals.

I'm still waiting for it to be uploaded in PH so I can't really give a much better critique. Here's to hoping it's one of those that worked.

The hentai audio at the scene in the end wasn't that interesting and since the song becomes louder and the beat faster at the end again, I thought bringing it back up instead of the hentai audio would fit well and I think it did.
It was the first time I included the original audio from the hentai too, so I'll keep that in mind next time.
