I think your problem was adding 8k mapping with 4k diffuse. I'd say just install the graphics mod and then 4k diffuse and that should be all you need. Do you really have anything that can display 8k anyways?

Hongfire usually only posts hongfire mods. They're good for cropped/recolored versions of in-game clothes (shorter skirts, etc) and ports from other games, usually. Japan also produces a lot of decent mods that you can find in the pastebin.

With an animation loaded, turn on the IKs. Then open up the HSStudio mod. With the character selected, slide the first bar at the top all the way down to .3. That'll restore the animation to full motion. Then slide the second bar all the way up. From there, select an IK. There'll be two more bars, pos and rot. Increase the weight of those from 0-1 to 0-10, double it to 20 (the x2 button) and slide both up to max. You can now move that IK while retaining the animation.

I've never been so emotionally confused for dlc I my life. On one hand, I am happy we are getting regular expansions. Oh the other, this shit is going to FUCK EVERYTHING UP. Looks like pretty much everything. The bodymesh looks like it was re-rigged to reduce deformations with bends. IK system has been reworked and looks like its going to replace a lot of the IK mod helpers in fictionality. Needless to say its going to be a while till many of the mods are updated and some might never be. But it looks like enough new content, features and quality of life enhancements to entice people get people interested again.
Maybe clothing, objects, maps and hairs will still work but I can imagine the ID slots will be fucked.
I am pretty new to HS and I planned to wait to pick it up with the content update thanks to a kind anon who packaged everything together in a mega link for a nice starting point.
But yeah having messed around with studio, Neo is pretty much what Studio should have been on release. The fact you need so many mods to get basic functionality is frustrating and even then it still feels crippled and unfinished.

Another risk that comes with western faces is western IP laws. Someone could eventually port some Overwatch faces over (if they could be faithfully recreated) but imagine the shit storm Blizz would attempt.
