I think the most sensible choice is RJ code first-title second. You want the RJ codes so you can have some method of reliable organization/searching but you don't want to have to memorize what's inside every single folder.

I've downloaded a bunch of those "Japanese ASMR" youtube videos over the last year or so.

Now my folder ended up too big so I wanted to sort them, and of course I can't find any of the RJ codes in some of the youtube videos I could recall.

I have about 25 tracks in my collection and I was wondering what the best way to go about this is; go through all the tracks on other collections that do contain RJ codes and compare them, or should I not even bother because there are THAT many out there?

This is how I organize. I order by year and month with some exceptions. Left is what the main folder looks like, the right is what it looks like in a folder.

DLsite is everything is before July 2016. It is organized differently, as it is by "genre." Loli folder, Normal folder (vague as fuck, but kinda like vanilla but not really), Mother folder, Non-human folder, and such. They are still organized like the right side of my picture.

I use EN titles if they are available and try to update to an EN title if a work gets one. "EN Title R-15" just that. It is all the R-15(or all ages) that I have with English titles. It is getting messy as there are some works in there that I don't really listen to, and some I listen to often. R-15 works go there instead of a year/month folder.

If there is a series that has direct sequels or I like a CV a lot I make a folder just for that. There some other CV folders in the DLsite folder.

There are some breaks between months because I didn't download many works then, and just put them in the next month's folder. Like, any thing from oct - nov got put into the December folder. Ignore the date modified as it is inaccurate. I got a new PC in oct and moved everything over.

Anyone knows the RJ code for this one? Probably one of my all time favorites.

Been using my MDR-V6 for years, relatively cheap and really good sound. Mind you, the velour pads that come with them are trash and will disintegrate over time. You can replace them with Beyerdynamic EDT250V pads which are cheap and will improve bass response making the headphones sound less harsh.

I used SleepPhones for a while. They were very comfortable but they lacked volume and detail. I used them because they were excellent for using while going to sleep, which is when I listen 99% of the time. When they broke, I moved on to IEMs.

the RE code is equivalent to the RJ code. It's the same work, just on the English dlsite, it's still Japanese. The only English work I know of is RE146515. You're better off going to GoneWildAudio if you want English voices.

There should be a link to common japanese words (like "dick") that will help. There are works that contain a Japanese script you can run through Google Translate.

If you already understand a bit, I'd actually recommend trying japanese voice-stuff. For one, they have far more works, with the already existing higher-class VA's, easily making quality works that are simply beyond of the current english scene. Doesn't look like that will change soon, either.
I personally also found voice works to help with understanding the language - but given that I listen several hours a day to some stuff in the background, that isn't really surprising.
