It's gotten easier. Most of the difficulties people run into are from using locale emulators or from using the Hongfire patch. Neither of those are recommend, but most pastebins haven't been updated to include new information on how to install.

It hasn't been announced, but CM3 probably won't be out until late 2018 early 2019.

1. Switch to Japanese locale.

2. Install the base game.

3. Install the latest game update. It's found at http://kisskiss.tv/cm3d2/update.php

4. Download the Sybaris AIO from https://mega.nz/#F!axdzjQIS!IO-37G0I1VORxANkj5NNow
Drag and drop the 'Sybaris' folder into your game's root and copy the appropriate opengl32.dll file to your game's root(the x86 one is for 32-bit systems and the x64 one is for 64-bit systems.)

5. Download TranslationPlus from https://github.com/zklm/CM3D2.TranslationPlus
Place its three files where indicated.

At that point you'll have the game installed, updated, in a locale that won't give you random errors from language incompatibilites, a number of plugins at your disposal along with a mod loader, and a special plugin that will load an English UI and translations for you.

But wait!

You'll still need translation files.

You just put translations in "CM3D2\Sybaris\Plugins\UnityInjector\Config\Strings\" (Make a Strings folder if you don't have one. Translation files are just text files.)

English UI files go in "CM3D2\Sybaris\Plugins\UnityInjector\Config\Assets"

MultipleMaids plugin to adjust lighting so it's darker, to make shadows more visible, and to also add a depth of field effect to make the background blurry.

Personally I recommend boneslider plugin to go with multiple maid. They are compatible with each other and work together very well, MM for general stuff and BSlider for fixing twisted limb/correcting details.

Shift+F6 toggles hair collision.
You hold A and press J, K, I, or L to change gravity in a scene, which makes hair and clothing sway in the direction of your choice. A+` resets it.

Basic instructions

1. Drag and drop /Sybaris/ folder into the root of your CM3D2 installation.
2. Drag and drop one of the "opengl32.dll" files into the root of your CM3D2 installation. They are in the /x64-x86 dlls/ folder. Use the x86 one if you have a 32-bit system. Use the x64 one if you have a 64-bit system.

That's it. That's really all there is to it. All of the files are in the correct folders already.

Extra stuff that was added:

BoneSlider - Press F10 for accurate control of camera, joints, gravity, etc.
YotogiAnywhere - Lets you do any position on any stage.
ExtendRenderingRange - Lets the game show more when camera is zoomed out.
FreeModeDressKeeper - Clothing state will persist in free mode (Example: If you take maid's top off and switch positions, her top will still be off.)

Can anyone link me a copy of the game with all the act's? I've looked around but it seems that the base game for some weird reason it's not on sukebei anymore. The only thing i can find is the torrent for CM3D+ Act 3. which is worthless without the prior act's and the base game.

Since theres a translation plugin for sybaris now, reipatcher isn't used anymore thankfully.
And 64bit works fine for me so far, wouldn't know why it wouldnt work.

So I followed the install guide step for step but when I run the game in locale emu (took a while to download the 32 bit update) it doesn't recognize the timezone name and thus infinite loops on the region lock screen.

I dunno if you guys care for news or stuff, but here goes

Anyway to unlock Yoto skill pack 11 without maid fiddler, it crashes on me when i open it. It's maid fiddler since when i remove it from my game i dont get any crashes.

The online editor doesn't support the new pack yet either.

I remember how to replace the Uncle maid, the secretary maid and some other maid via preset editing. And how to turn the dudes in VIP / 3P / 4P scenes into female masters (outright girls doesn't work due to file structure) by save game editing.
But I assume people took this to the next level, so is there a list of what you can replace by those methods?

After I installed sybaris I can't get the preset menu in the character creator to open. The error in the console is "Access to the path (etc. etc.) is denied." sybaris is basically mods that you can toggle off and on as you want
to remove sybaris, you just remove the folder

My only issue, and that's a small one, with this is that the head maid is not particularly attractive. The blonde twintail maid is much hotter. I tried mix and matching with other body replacers from futanarichinko but they don't fit.
But I am still happy with this. It's like a 12 feet tall cake and there just happen to be cherries on top instead of strawberries.

I'm thinking of writing a plugin that simulates boob expansion over time by keeping track of boob fondle actions and days passed and increasing the boob values (either the regular one or the ones from extended sliders, not yet sure) accordingly. I'm thinking of something like 0.05 per action, capped at a maximum of +1 per day (so 0 boob value, AAA to 100 boob value, N cup) would take a full 100 days of 20 touch breasts, or paizuri, etc actions

So far I just adjusted this manually but it's a pain and not immersive.

I goofed when installing the DLCs and accidentally overwritten some files in my game data folder, now some hairs went missing and my game crashes when I pick certain poses.

I suspect it has something to do with the path.dat file, and I'm not sure which one to use.

this works for the secretary maid, someone called the esthe_maid (whatever that is. I never got far enough to test) and the Uncle's maid.
It probably works for the VIP maids too, if I knew their preset name.

This is what my current secretary maid looks like

I just made her, made it a preset (body+clothes) and then renamed the preset to pre_maid_secretary.preset

I don't remember where I got this info from so it's hard for me to even start looking how to find the VIP maid presets
I suppose you could try to bruteforce it by creating an endless amount of presets and just naming them like pre_VIP_Yoshiko pre_maid_Yoshiko pre_maid_VIP1
and so forth until you find it, but I like the VIP ones enough to not bother with this

I set my locale and I installed the base game and did a test run. Everything worked fine.

Then I dragged the /Sybaris/ folder along with the opengl32.dll into the root of CM3D. I loaded up the game. The game window appeared and suddenly a black window appeared along with it.
The black window rapidly generated red colored text notifying me that a lot files were missing.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

If your system locale is japanese, you can launch the 64 bit exe by just double clicking it. Are you starting the game through some other method?

Mods actually don't take up that much space believe it or not.

The bulk of the game is its DLC. Base game can be a little over 10 GB before updates. It's after you update and start installing DLC that it can reach large sizes.

While being choosy about mods I think my mod folder is only 5GB at most? Of course if you just drop every mod in there it'll be much higher.

Also, using maso skills like binding or restrained or hanging in other rooms causes the items (binds and chains) to not show up

You can unlock it by doing all the VIP events for one of those guest maids you can hire. I don't remember which but it wasn't difficult at all.

After you do that, you just need some arbitrary stat requirement (like 3000 lust, whatever...) and you're good to go :)
