I've never paid for digital hentai. I bought a random 18+ bag at a con a few years ago and got this poorly drawn yuri art book. I can fap to a good 2 out of the 30 or so pages.

I paid once to a mixed porn/hentai website because I couldn't find these drawings elsewhere and the art was pretty good (the website probably comissioned from various artists).
I don't really see myself paying for hentai anymore. Would only be willing to pay again if the same thing happened.

The concept is ok, but for me it's more that between expending the money on something else like a game and hentai, I'd rather buy the game. Besides, there are so many artists on the internet that even if you just compiled whatever is available for free you'd still have a huge load of hentai.

While I agree that, if you enjoy an artist's work, and you have the money to buy it, you should consider being a bro and supporting said artist, paid content does not equal better content. In fact, sometimes, it's objectively worse from a technical standpoint.

I payed for Shin Sei Den on dlsite because I really liked his last two games and he finally put one out for english. I donated $10 to Cathouse Tale team this month because I like the project. Not gonna give them anymore though. I support m1zuki on patreon because he's a consistent and frequent translator and payouts are only for when he finishes a complete translation.

And there was that one time when I turned 18, I payed $60 for a blu-ray of Digital Playgrounds Babysitters 2. Just so I could say I bought porn at least once. Really good vid tho.
