In as109's Tsuuhan Elf, there was a page where it said that elves mature at age 50 in human years. The main characte didn't see this message because it was so small. He set the age for the elf to be 18 human years.
He did some math to find out why the elf looked like a child when it got delivered to him.
It went like this:
50/18=2.777
18/2.777=6.48
So he ordered a 6 year old elf.
Now it got me thinking.
How old would the elf be if she was 100 human years old?
Well, just multiply 18 by 2 and you get 36. Easy.
It took me a month to figure that out, I don't have faith in my intelligence because of it and I need some help with this.
tl;dr You are given this information:
An elf matures at 50 years old.
50=18
An 18 year old elf in human years is 6.48 years.
I want the equation.
I might just be too stupid to figure this out.

Your first equation of 50/18=2.777 is:
Age in Human years / Converted Human age in Elf years=Ratio
You can reverse this to find any age.
Age in Elf Years * 2.777 = Age in Human Years
Age in Human Years / 2.777 = Age in Elf Years

This is incorrect because the equation for that uses division, not multiplication.
100/2.777=36
