I made my new one on Kanojox3 and it features 9 minutes of pure uncensored ecstasy. Since I got a good response from the doujin HMVs I uploaded last time, I threw in 3 more in this pack. I don't think they're as good as the first batch but that's just a matter of opinion.

Also I have a question for you guys since I'm kinda new here. On my first HMV pack I got over 4000 downloads on it in the first week.
Are those numbers normal around here? I didn't know we had so many lurkers in these threads.

yeah so my videos are not really fappable and I get that. I come from normal amv editing so I usualy try to tell some kind of story or something.
My first video is actually kind of an anomaly in that I edited it very atypical to my style usually I try to keep it simple but with that
one I went all out and threw in all kinds of stupid effects in and even some rotoscoping. If I wasn't so lazy I could probably do much better videos.

You can tell a story and put more effort into editing, the two aren't mutually exclusive concepts that can't be mixed, however I'm going to say that god awful attempt at rap was turned that into pure shit.

Use what ever program you're comfortable with. A lot of editors start with more entry level video editing software before moving to more professional software. I'm not familiar with Movavi Video Suite, but if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, that allows to do more and render a more fine tuned video, you might want to upgrade to something like Vegas down the line. It's really about what you're comfortable with and the only way to find out is to start making an HMV with that program and see how you like it. Just make sure you do a test render or two before you finish editing to see what it looks like. The last thing you want is to finish an entire HMV, render it and find out there are problems in the way the video came out and no changes in the software's settings will fix them.

The new one is very dark. I'm not a fan of that song to be honest. I just don't get why anyone would want to hear some girl tell you she feels like dying over and over again. Blurs the line between music and noises. No clue why that song got so popular. I like that hentai though. But with that song I just spent the whole time feeling bad for the girl in the hentai, instead of getting turned on. Anyway, some people get off on that really dark stuff though. Heck, Aya's got some really dark ones. And for the record, you don't have to sync to the beat for something to be well edited. It certainly helps, but if it's cut in a way that makes sense and progresses in a logical fashion it can still be good. The most important things in an HMV are the music and source material, if you nail those it will be above average at worst. The editing is what puts an HMV over the top.

As for what TOS it was the adult content sharing part. I was the guy that initially had it on G. Drive then moved it over to Mega because google changed its TOS agreement later on after G Drive became more mainstream.

Another reason why it got banned too is because that shared link got a lot of views and clicks over time and apparently google didnt like the fact I was using their service as a hub to stream hentai for people to download/jack off to.

I updated my first HMV and made a very small change to my second one... not really worth looking into desu... also those have male vocals.

But my newest HMV, which I made a couple months back and never shared for some reason, might be worth checking out.
It's a bit better than the other ones in my opinion and doesn't have male vocals.

Meh, a lot of editors don't do that very frequently. Some only when they have something else they want to post about. It's all personal preference. And editors have come back from longer dry spells before. Aya was away for awhile and then, boom, a bunch of HMVs and streams. Just gotta be thankful for every HMV you get. Editors make HMVs when they feel like it and post when the feel like it. Don't read too much into it.

There's an HMV index project in the works, but it's on hold right now and it's not done chronologically. Most of the demand is to organize things by editor, not date. Not to add fuel to the fire, but the worst thing I've ever seen in regards to taking HMVs was this site, hentaipornvid.com. It redirects to a hentai thumbnail site now. I guess it went under and the domain was bought or was consolidated into another site as part of a larger hentai network. Anyway, that site used to watermark other peoples HMVs. You might still be able to find some on streaming sites with hentaipornvid in the corner. The site sold memberships, so they were pretending the HMVs they watermarked were exclusive content to their site. It's also possible they were just uploading HMVs to streaming sites with their watermark to advertise, but I don't think so because it was never from an official website account. It was just random people. It looked like people took the videos from behind their pay wall and just uploaded them the way most porn "escapes." Pretty crappy if you ask me.

Awesome pace through out. It really fit with the music. This is a great example of how an HMV can be very well edited and synced with the music, but without syncing the bass to the action. Bass sync is awesome, but sometimes with some songs, you can do some really cool things by going your own way. The sped up pace seemed to really fit the song.

When you lay files down onto the timeline, Sony Vegas auto detects video settings, at least for resolution and framerate. You shouldn't have much of a problem, just remember to disable resampling on all of your clips, other wise some gross stuff happens with your frames.

Vegas usually sets things according to the first video you add to the timeline. You can change all of that later when you go to render if you want. If you're working with several sources, it's best to do some early test renders to see what it looks like before you continue.

There are good pmvs but they're hard to find and its musical genres are so much more broader than the music used in hmvs that I think a good amount of people here wouldn't like it so much (a lot of pmvs use male vocals etc) and imo only some lyrical music is OK depending on the content and editing used in the pmv.

Since PMVs are basically a clusterfuck of mostly badly edited compilations (like the ones we used to see back then with a hot thumbnail only to be assaulted by shitty ass ear raping music) and some good. I have a hard time finding good pmvs since most of the editors that post em (you'll rarely find the original source file) on tube sites to be viewed like pornhub; they come and go A LOT so trying to find a dedicated torrent of pmv editors is like slim to none.
I only got 4.7 gbs of pmvs downloaded but thats after sifting through based on my pornhub video view count over 1200 vids and counting just for 4.75 gbs of good pmvs that suit my taste.

Yeah, there's so much shit that it takes a while to sift through it all. If you're looking for editors that typically make consistently good PMVs check out Gemcutter and drethewatcher. I don't think there's anywhere to get their content without pulling it from a Tube site though.
