First! Ray's back to streaming work on 1.9beta. So far we have the picnic and the talk system changes, which he's finishing up now.

I really like what he's doing with the talk system because it makes it a lot easier for people. Basically, he's using what was previously just random suggestions to display a list of -all- things you can talk to Sylvie about. Very cool.

I assume they're supposed to, but at present they do not because Ray is still using the old sensitivity definitions in the actual H-scene code. I assume he isn't actually using them because to do so would be to actually code in new reactions, add new flavor text, and potentially add new art elements. As with the gloves in the shop, I assume it's a placeholder for future content.

This is how it works now, yes. At present there's no way to get her to close her legs again, so it's just adding flavor to the images (same with clasping hands). While I'd like to say these are placeholders for more content, the code doesn't yet suggest such a thing. I hope so, though.

Ray put up an example video for the features he was working on while streaming today. Shown off are the new "Help" menu for the Talk system that replaces the randomizer so that you can see all possible things you can say to Sylvie. Also shown off is the new favorite clothing system, which now lets you save up to 20 favorite outfits, give a unique name to each saved outfit, and will confirm with you before overwriting a saved outfit. Nice!
