He's always been a shit artist. The only reason he's popular is because he's one of the few who still draws hardcore Naruto hentai.

Narutards don't have many other options.

His terrible asses are the primary reason why I can never get into his stuff. Curves are pretty damn important when drawing attractive women, yet his women keep going back and forth between moderately well-drawn and curvy, to shapeless ass and wide-waisted.

His insanely slutty Sakura is a plus, but the art puts me off too much.

His art is shit but his "direction" (I have no clue which term would deacribe it better) is still very good.

When it comes to depicting sluttiness his Sakura and Sarada are easily on par with Mizuryu's and Tomagoro's works.

Inexcusable? The excuse, no, the fact, is obviously that they aren't that skilled at drawing anatomy from certain angles. You can't fault someone for not being good at something specific; especially when they've already done a hell of a lot more than you ever have in this field. For all you know, this was made in their effort to practice to get better at exactly what you're complaining about.

This s a doujin, not a practice field. It is not the place to experiment something they are obviously not good at in the slightest, that is for their sketchbook, their sketches. It is immediately possible, and expected, to fault someone for being laughably bad at something when everything else was far better in comparison. "One of these things does not look like the other."

It wasn't necessary to have that pose there, nor was it necessary to show it to that degree.Perhaps not inexcusable, but there is no goddamn excuse for putting fucking Babylegs O'Hirlehan in a doujin, getting fucked up the ass.

That is hardly a valid point in any case. It doesn't take a trained artist to understand when something is wrong with a picture, only one to accurately describe what is wrong. As it is, that error is so glaring that it is readily obvious.

There's still plenty of Naruto doujins being made. Something about copyrights prevents most of them from being uploading to the internet.

The real issue with Karakishi Youhei-dan is that he's/they've gotten lazier and, thus, worse as time goes on. Go and take a look at, say, Handmade Family (or whatever its moonspeak title is) and compare that against the modern stuff. The older works tended to be more accurate to the source, and also tended to have subtler expressions. These days? MASSIVE ahegao addiction. Not even addicted to good ahegao anymore, these days he's cutting it with baking soda and crushed glass.
