You'll need several tools for porting.
First you'll need either Blender, Maya or 3ds Max. Blender is free and it includes some great tools for importing/exporting.
You'll need SB3UGS 1.4.4 which is the latest version. You can open unity3d files with it.
Get the SlotID tool to check if you have any slotID conflicts.
Optional are any tools you'll need to convert between resources. I have s3pe and Sims3 Pack MultiExtractor for converting sims 3 models to resource packes, which I can then open and extract textures from. I can also import sims 3 files into Blender.
If you'll be using SFM, MMD or XPSLara as your resource of models find the import/export plugins for Blender.

From the paste, one of the recommended translation tool was HoneySelectLauncher.rar. I extracted the exe and placed it on my install path (C:\illusion\HoneySelect).

Anyone else having problems with HSPE and the 3 shoes pack, the one currently not in the pastebin. It's the pack that contains the wedges, high platform heels and those odd boots.
I activated IK and noticed the feet would float away from the body. It's only these heels that have this issue.

Anyone have tips on using the bone modifier? Been playing around with it a bit today and it seems like a really powerful tool but I'm still getting the hang of it. Is there a legend or something that says what each of the indexed bones are (trial and error is okay but sometimes I can't notice any changes).
