Lyrics can be nice ala Mellee Fresh vs deadmau5 where they over the top erotic, or they can be total shit when the creator just kind of chooses some shitty metal song he liked in highschool that may or may not be somewhat related to the content.

Fine work as usual, Caster; underutilized source (wafer-thin, yes, but that animation tho) and solid editing all around. If the little record scratches were part of the audio to begin with, they made nice transition points regardless. Despite the technically slow tempo of the song it had decent energy to it, and you built up nicely to the 'action'.

Always good to see you still in the game, and your work has quickly become some of my favorite. Hope you enjoy doing this as much the rest of us enjoy tuning in!

Ok so I finished updating the mega so things should be up to date and more organized with some help. It is now changed to 2.4

Some things got moved around such as SoundSpere, Ryan Hardo, and Fxx finally got a folder.

So for people that have a full sized "Others" folder just make new folders for hardo and SS and move their works into there.

Delete the "how to make friends" hmv from the others folder or move it into Aya's if you didn't download it yet since there's a duplicate. Move "portrait of a shoujo" and, "my mind is empty" into Aya's folder.

Some other editors have their folders updated with things that have been missing which were already posted on their cloud storage.

Let me know if I'm missing anything or if some things are out of place

You dont have to download everything from the Mega. Just change whatever main hmv folder that houses everything to the name listed on the mega. use Jdownloader so that you dont have to do a complete download of everything.

Still working on a new one, was hoping to get it done by the end of the year but I keep adding more source material so I don't think that'll be the case. It's something a litlle more light-hearted and I think (hope) it'll be worth the wait.

Not a fan of all of the electronic "club" songs most of these have. Way back in the day there used to be an AMV with the Beatles Song "From me to You" with Immoral Sisters footage and it was great. The audio and video synced for the most part, it was uncensored, and everything just seemed to go together.

I agree with dubstep, not because it's overdone (I don't think it is but your mileage will almost certainly vary) but because it's just generally doesn't suit HMVs. For example, dubstep often doesn't have a strong/memorable refrain, which is something that a lot HMVs work with to great effect.

"Electronic" in general I disagree with though, because that "genre" is huge. Just be more thoughtful about song selection (more than "hey I like this song").

Good editing is about combining fitting music with material, so i believe the quality of an hmv comes from the creator not the genre.

I generally agree with you, but I'd hardly call the Hotline Miami OST "ideal HMV music". While electronic music is undoubtedly the overall best for HMVs, I really can never get off to the sub-genre that song fits in. The 80s sound it has to it, while being a good song, just is a bonerkiller for me and its beat is way too quick and erratic to fit the "sensual" nature HMVs usually have while also being too upbeat for a rougher kind of HMV.

Haha, thanks. Well, I usually try to ctrl+hold the edges of the animations and stretch them to get the timing right, but that only allows for up to 400% speed. If it's still not enough, I enable the Velocity envelope and mess with that.

I know a lot of people aren't going to want to hear this, but there are times I don't mind when they leave subs in and this is one of them. At least during the intro and that's because it was really hot. The girl is such a freak and reading stuff like "Pour your semen into me" and "Give me all of it" is just really hot.
