Candy and /koe/ guy has made a storage server dedicated to backup/upload voice works within' it.

The storage space for the server is currently 512 GB big and requires a sFTP client in order to connect and download/upload (such as FileZilla, WinSCP etc.). Downloaders are able to just connect and download. As for uploaders who wish to contribute something... hop into the Discord server. Go to #verification and ask for permission. Candy and /koe/ guy will be sitting there and talk with you. This is to prevent from random people to just join and fill the server up with random crap.

You can also visit voice.station.moe in order to check if a certain voice work has been uploaded or not. If you wanna check a full listing of what's been uploaded, connect to the sFTP instead or search "RJ" at voice.station.moe for
most of the DLSite's stuff. All informations regarding about what username, password, host address etc. and how to get permission to upload stuff, can be found at the FAQ page. Click on the image in order to see the url for the FAQ.

I wouldn't say HVDB was the problem. At some point, don't remember when, people just went full on begging and no conversation at all. It was just "RJ______ PLZ" each and every time I checked the threads and it all kept going downhill from there. HVDB and discord probably popped up after that since the quality of the threads went to shit and no one wanted to deal with it anymore.

Most probably you won't be able to hear the difference, especially if the MP3 has a bitrate of 320, which is common. I've heard speech needs less bitrate than music anyway.

WAV is better for converting into another file type.

You could always convert the WAVs into FLAC, if you want to both save space and retain the originals.

Inactivity is listed before griefing or reposting works as a reason you may be banned so I dunno.

Hey, so I recently contributed quite a bit of download links, and was wondering if you were planning on doing anything about the people who add a work, but don't add anything. No download link, no CV, no tags. It's kind of frustrating adding a work and having that happen. The ones were someone went and filled the CV and tags, perfectly fine, but when they literally do nothing other than enter the work number and hit save is just not right. Also, the message "an error occurred" when adding a link to a work that already has a page, which adds the link but doesn't give you contribution points.

As an aside, you should add a system for deleting tags (there are like 10 variants of one). Also, cleaning white space from the front and back of tags/CV's, and adding a way for tags to auto replace (i.e. if someone puts the Japanese in romaji/kana with the English tag).

A new and improved tag system is definitely something that I plan on creating when I have the time. As for the empty CV and tags problem, I might consider making tags and cvs mandatory fields for addition.

Also could you tell me the work you attempted to edit download links for that had an error? I can't seem to reproduce it on my side.
