You didn't set the RenderQueue scripts, it's the worst part of making a hairmod.

Make sure you export your hair into parts that best reflect the order of their overlap. Open an existing hairpiece with MonoBehaviour scripts that contain SetRendererQueue, drag it to the workspace and keep the item open. Open your own hairmod and then drag and drop the script into every parent of your MeshRenderers. Set the rendererqueue of the meshrenderer overlapping everything else to a high number such as 3500, set the _u part to 3499. For every part under it drop the rendererqueue by 10 or so. Add any additional children to the tree if necessary. Make sure you set ample space between the numbers because you'll have to do a lot of tweaking.

Maybe I'm unclear but I mean that your parts have numbers behind them. Blender gives a seperated mesh a number. If you have a complete mesh, seperate the part that is overlapping everything. This will create a mesh called hair.001. If you repeat this for every overlapping part (or group of parts) you'll end up with a lot of numbered meshes that makes it easier to guess the right queue number.

The actual ordering of the meshes is done in SB3U, you only need to change the number in the SetRendererQueue Script.

You don't have to seperate them by strand, you can also pick several parts that do not overlap eachother but do overlap everything else. This will reduce the time spend on ordering, materials and replacing meshes.

I just messed around a lot, that's why my first 2 mods are shit compared to some of the stuff others have released.
I started by reading the SBPR tutorials since most of the stuff is the same. While messing with the tube dress I learned most of the basics of modding for HS, the amount of time wasted trying to find out why my mods wouldn't show up only to find the Cabinet code and inventory offset options by coincidence. Roy told me about the workspace, I didn't know what purpose it had either until he showed me you could easily copy over animators. Luckily he's going to continue his tutorial, you don't want to waste weeks on small stuff like that.

A choice selection of my dicking around. Two caveats: Sometimes IK will bug out the hands of the men. Just activate IK and click them to fix it. Also some of the animations are based on vanilla ones. decently happy with this. i hate installing random fonts, just to use 1 time, but somehow without the right fonts it won't look right. had to use sense to find what I wanted was something san serif, narrow, and bold, for magazine cover style.

It's a bit confusing and I haven't seen anyone explain it properly

When you download the game you should get a rar containing the update executable (should be honey_03_plus0909k.exe or something)

Run that program and it'll prompt you to pick a folder. Just choose a random one; it doesn't need to be the game intsall.

Once it extract it, look inside the "setup" folder. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to use the setup.exe to install it, but that never worked for me and I can't read moon runes to figure out why.

Just copy/paste what's inside the "setup" folder to your game install folder. The studio program will be there right under the Honey select program (HoneyStudio_32/64.exe). Run that and it'll open up right into the studio.

Extra tip; when you install IPA (required for many mods; makes plugins work) or wideslider make sure to run the _patched.exe with admin privileges for both of the programs. You only have to run it once, though.

that looks fine actually. If you really wanted to, you could make it so that the background image isn't super saturated.

What I usually do is place a blank layer over what I want to stay unsaturated, and fill it with white, and make the white layer very transparent. From there, you just change the level of transparency till the background comes out how you want it.

Also, i'm a lazy fuck and forgot to release them. I wanted to make some studio screenshots and scenes to better show off how they look first. I'll release them tonight probably.

There is definitely something wrong on your end. Just redo the entire process over again and make absolutely sure everything is going in the right folders/directories. Go into each and every folder and drop each file one by one instead of overwriting folders. Make sure you're using correct versions for your OS. Heck, just re-download both these files since the translation you listed is old as shit.
