Also SQUEEZ made 60fps for the animations already they're the ones with .wmv extensions that you can just grab from the movie folder on the ISO itself.

I got it working!
Open the game and then hook onto it with VNR.
When the tag along menu appears next to the game window, click "Menu" and then "Text Settings".
Go through a few of the lines. It'll add new dialog threads as new boxes. One will be dialog and another will be names so set those accordingly and hit "Save" once your done.
The translations will then start to appear.

guys...thanks for all the instructions..but altho i downloaded a couple of dictionaries and tools(MeCab UniDic, OVDP) and enabled them it seems that the translation makes no sense. i cant seem to be able to download the EDICT dictionary (which seems to be crucial) since the install button opens a command prompt for like 10 secs and then closes without downloading any file(s) into the EDICT dictionary folder. tried manually searching for the dictionary (since its the only dictionary they dont provide any links) but the files i tried are not associating with the program. so i have three questions:
a) am i doing something completely wrong and dumb? am i missing something?
b) from your experience is the game playable/readable with the vrn?
c) any ideas where i can find the correct EDICT files? or can anyone provide them ..? they are/should be located: \Visual Novel Reader\Caches\Dictionaries\EDICT
