Sad Panda

Install Chrome extension source viewer.
Go to the Sad Panda extension page from the OP.
Click on the yellow CRX button, and choose Download as zip.
Extract the zip file.
You should now have a folder with random letters
Go into the folder and remove "_" from _metadata folder name.
Open manifest.json (I'm using NotePad++ but I'm sure normal notepad works fine).
Replace "http://ex" with "https://ex" (On notepad its CTRL+H).
Save the file.
Go into lib folder and open background.js with notepad or whatever.
Replace "http://ex" with "https://ex".
Save the file.
Go to your chrome extension page (chrome://extensions/)
Uninstall sad panda if you haven't already
Drag and drop the entire folder (the one with the random letters) onto the chrome extensions page
Done ez

Completely clear your history. Head over to the the e hentai gallery and log in, then redirect to exhentai. Should work.

Different person, but after doing all that I got a login page and typed in account name and password, but it didn't do anything. I didn't even get an error notification.

Assuming you are talking about Ex - it does that sometimes, just refresh the page.

FOR EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE
This is the easiest way:
0) Delete the plugin if you have it.
1) Create an account on E-hentai if you don't have one yet
2) Login to e-hentai.org
3) Either clear your cookies and restart your browser, or restart in private browsing/incognito mode
4) Go to e-hentai.org, log in
5) NOW you can go to ex and you should already be logged in

It's so simple:
-Clear cookies,
-Incognito/private browsing (restart browser)
-Login @ http://e-hentai.org/ FIRST
-THEN go to https://exhentai.org/

Login at (E) THEN go to (EX)

Troubleshooting if it still doesn't work:

Make sure the cookies are all deleted
Make sure you have deleted the plugin
Make sure you are closing all browsing sessions active on your computer
Make sure you are logging into (e) BEFORE you go the (ex) URL

Its actually very very simple
Download privacy manager on chrome shop

Then lon-on to ehentai
Then use manager to search for 'EX' hentai cookies, delete them.
Now log on to exhentai.
Its important to only delete exhentai cookies, not g-e ones, because the latter contain the login information.

Step 1: Right-click Sad Panda (so go to exhentai.org or any exhentai link that has the sad cockblocking panda)
Step 2: Inspect/Inspect Element
Step 3: Go to the Resources tab
Step 4: Go under the Cookies drop down in the left hand side of the giant window opened through inspect element
Step 5: Click ExHentai. 'yay' should be the only cookie there. Delete it. Refresh.

I get the error: No account exists.

I do have an account on ehentai and the exhentai site loads fine but doesnt recognize me.

Anyone have a fix for this because google and me are all out of ideas at this point.

I've never used a plugin to browse exhentai, I just made an account and waited a few weeks.

Does this plugin let me browse in incognito mode normally but it's broken? Tired of clearing my browsing history.

I've never used any extensions, just used the g.e account to go on ex, and now both of them just load forever and then hit a white screen. I just deleted all my history, and it still happens.

Is this a thing that actually happens? What would have changed to make them block it this week?

I fixed this by downloading the latest version from github. Uninstalled mine, then dragged the right folder (chrome / firefox) onto my extensions page.
