Never understood why people gave him so much shit for the camera effects. It was a clever way to keep things intense, considering at the end of the day they have to find a feasible way to stretch out the animation loops.

i dunno what to say I've beat off to this countless times and I still end up going back to it here and there. It's fucking legendary.

Wish he did more like TA and KS. Still love his style but his prime was with TA and KS. Don't think they'll ever get old.

Why not creating a kickstarter? Raising enough money up to a 5 or 6 number figure could convice the company holding Taimanin asagi to let it go uncensored.

I took episode 2 and dubbed butt slap sound effects matched with the animation as best I could to try and increase the realism a bit. Same deal with sucking sounds during the blowjob scenes. Those sound effects were ripped from porn, so they're actual butt slaps and sucking sounds. Added additional cumshot sounds ripped from this series and others where I thought it appropriate.

I'm currently working on episode 3 dubbing sound effects in the same way. I'm at the tentacle scene with Asagi, Sakura, and the old man. Once that's done it's on to the tentacle sounds in Asagi and Kyousuke's scene and it'll be done.

The only thing that was noteworthy was the intensity of the scenes. The general quality of art in the anime adaptation is terrible, and there needs to be some sort of collaboration with an external team to work on that. If Murakami's camera effects could be combined with art quality of the level of at least Taimanin Yukikaze episode 1 it would be much better.

The scenes involving Sakura and any sort of tentacles/monsters are the worst offenders where artstyle is concerned as they not only mess up Sak's facial features but also her proportions, making them really difficult to enjoy. In retrospect, the tentacles were also a huge problem with dark love.

For prison battleship it's okay since its mostly gangbangs with nameless soldiers and the protagonist/antagonist, but in taimanin asagi they did the original artstyle of the VN a horrible injustice.

Spent some time looking up settings to use in Handbrake and got the Episode 2 edit down to 299 MB:

I went into photoshop, stuck the 2 layers in pic related on top of each other and toggled the top layer on and off rapidly to see if it made a difference with both layers on full opacity. Maybe my eyes are hopelessly plebeian, but I didn't notice any significant difference.

I'll encode episode 3 with the same settings. File will be in the same folder as the link I posted above once both encode and upload are finished.

It gives me sea sickness. I wouldn't mind a few effects here and there for emphasis, but as it is, it just makes me want to barf.

I love the animation in Asagi and prison battleship. It looks and feels so kinetic, but the emotion presented, whether that's disgust or lust, really comes out with the way they present the animation.
