Hey, in case anyone doesn't know there is a .csv file for the original fap hero for the vorze a10 cyclone. The csv is a comma separated list that, when used with the included vorze player, syncs the rotation of the onahole with the video provided.

If anyone has any experience coding stuff like this, or made the csv for fap hero drops by this thread please share what programs/methods you use to code these files without wasting 200+ hours in excel as I am interested in coding a csv file for gu's fap heros as practice and for personal use :^)

I think both ways are fine, so it's really whatever your prefer. My only complaint about syncing to the beat would be that if you have a doubletime section, the animation is going to look silly going that fast. If I'm understanding what you mean correctly.

From the looks of it you figured out the format for csv, but for anyone who doesn't understand the list from right to left in a csv file is:
[time in centiseconds] [rotation direction] [motor output percentage]

For direction 0 seemed to go clockwise and 1 was counterclockwise when I was testing with my vorze if I recall correctly.

I could code by hand just entering the values and times where I wanted the direction/power to change, but if I am going to take on a big project like coding for a fap hero (and later all major fap hero videos) then I would prefer to have some sort of tool that makes my job easier. Onetouchscripter has a vorze coding mode, but it was made for the realtouch, which makes figuring out what each setting (blowjob/handjob/ect) does on the vorze when you convert the file mostly trial and error.

I still plan on making these things even if I have to enter every cell of the csv file by hand, but it will end up taking quite a bit of time that way.

My plate is full right now with the upcoming release of my fap hero but i could be persuaded to help create a program that can analyze audio files and generate a csv file.

This approach would however require the use of a specific beat sound to accurately map the beat.
so it wouldn't be of much help in old video's. More of a tool for creators so it is easy for them to generate the csv.

analyzing and generating data based on sound amplitude and bandwidth won't be hard if the audio file only contains the actual beat...

what you could do is include the beat sample that needs to be used. could even include different beat samples for different speeds and stuff.

As for generating csv data from older fap and cock heroes you could include a timeline function.
Where you edit the csv much like you would edit a video... just add the audio from the desired FH and start editing based on the sound structure.

well.. i'm going out on a tangent here because i can't help with this before February.

In my dick's experience, the vorze finds its niche in syncing to the action on screen more than it does audio queues and or a beat meater.

I'm still open to suggestion as to which style to use for the vorze csv files, but in my opinion a combination of the action on screen and the position of the video (the current round) is the best method to choosing what level of power to have the vorze output at.

So in essence my current plan is to intensify the vorze's actions when the beat meter intensifies, but not to have it constantly switch between clockwise and counterclockwise for every stroke action. Instead I plan on doing something like the first fap hero csv where the rotation direction changes when the camera skips to a different position. The effect this has with the vorze teases your dick until you kind of start to get used to it, then the visual stimulus of a camera swap plus the sensation of a rotation direction switch really brings you into the heat of the video.

It's kind of hard to explain to someone who hasn't used the a10 cyclone before, but it seems that for limited amounts of time a 'back and forth' action of rotation is fine for handjobs at the beginning of a scene, but for long term it will tear your dick off and destroy the motor if you don't employ some complex actions.

In included JAV video that comes on the installation disk for the vorze player you can do a few things to simulate certain actions with only the ability to rotate two directions:
- Handjobs are a quick switch in rotation with a low/medium power
- A dick twitching at any point is caused by a quick stop and resume of the current motion
- Vaginal sex is constant rotation in one direction (usually clockwise)
- Anal sex is constant rotation with sudden switches in direction (mostly counterclockwise)

Some technical advice for interested FH makers, I'm no expert though:

? ? best encoded using x264, preset veryslow, CRF 20, tune animation. If you can only set a bitrate, go for 3000 kb/s that's more than enough
? audio format AC3, AAC or Vorbis
? ? (doesn't really matter, at 128 kb/s they are all better than CD-quality MP3s)
? container MP4 or MKV
? resolution HD 720p if your hentai sources are HD too, if not: avoid upscaling and disrupting aspect ratio

In my opinion, a "reward round" isn't necesary at all, if the finale is handled nicely and builds up to a "Cum!" command to clearly show that you beat it (heh) and won and are now free to cum.

I think the way that the original fap hero handled the reward round is the best way to do it. The main problem with your faphero is that it seems like you're confusing faphero with rhythm games. Faphero is for fapping and endurance, not a rhythm game.

This would be great in a rhythm game, but faphero is not a rhythm game. You know why fapheros have the center at the center of the screen. Because you'll be looking at the action at the center of the screen, not the left half of the screen or the bottom corner. The bearbar is hard enough to see already since we'll be looking at the action in the center of the screen, and you decide to make it transparent? This creates serious visibility problems depending on what's going on in the video background.

I don't want to be trying to figure out if the upcoming rhythm is 1 2 3 4 or 1 & & & when I'm fucking fapping. No repeating rhythms longer than two measures. I don't want to remember that there's seven bars of 1 2 3 followed by one bar of 1 3 looping every eight fucking measures. No changing rhythms more often than eight measures. I don't want to keep the corner of my eye on the beatbar the entire time.

Just finished it without doing the extra rounds. I really like this project. The selection of hentai is great and the music is not annoying like some other fap heroes. The music is a nice selection, not too chill and minimalist but at the same time not erratic. One of favorite rounds was round 2, it felt a little by like reyalice long starter rounds. Also nice job with your take on the hentai in round 5 (I don't know the name of it). It really matched up with Batista take on it, when he did the same hentai in 'ERA!'. It didn't copy what he did, and it felt really well done. The last round is my favorite, the hentai is amazing and I am an ass/thick lover, with the sounds on it made it pretty hard not finish untill the countdown.

I just would like to ask what is going to be your host's style? Will she be teasing the player in the middle of rounds? I feel like you are trying to make a 'difficult' fap-hero, so that would really up the difficulty if you went that way. Also, I feel like there should be more of a reward for people that didn't cum in the last round. I don't mean more footage, but maybe the host can do a countdown or something like that through text.

I have to disagree with him on this too, some fap heroes have certainly had beats that got too complicated, but I thought this one was fine 95% of the time.


My suggestion that I think could help solve the issues he has without causing a problem for people who like it the way it is, would be to color the actual beat indicators when there is a change of pace. Like your base beat for the song stays black, and when a quick section approaches the indicator squiggles for that are red instead, that way you notice it coming easier in your peripheral vision without having to focus on the bar. This should help with him keeping an eye on the bar AND make it easier to handle the more complex rhythm parts because it would be easier to see the subsections of the complex beat at a glance.

I wouldn't worry about too many colors, I'm not suggesting different colors for every possible pace or anything, you'd really only need to show how sections relate to the base song speed. I think 4 colors would be enough to represent:
Base song speed
Faster section
Slower section
Interrupt section (like when you have a quick little 1-2 beat in the middle of longer continuous beats)

Though you could break it down further if you wanted. Not sure how hard this would be to do or anything, so you might not think it's worth the time. Thanks again for all your hard work, I look forward to the extended release!

I think where PS has it is more-or-less perfect. I like it out of the center because it makes more thematic sense (assuming you think of fap heroes as dick dick revolution). Gives you time to understand the beat before the action.

I can't understand the notion that fap heroes aren't rhythm games. If every fap was on the downbeat AND you want simple rhythms, you can just watch any HMV. You don't need the beatbar if it's always on the downbeat unless you're clinically retarded. I've seen some ridiculous beats (RacyAlice did this a few times), but PS's were all pretty great. The syncopated one in round 2 was actually one of my favorites.

My own question now, how do you all play fap heroes, technique-wise? I just beat PS's with no lube, mostly because I gripped fairly loosely at the very bottom of the shaft and only moved up at most 70% ever. I.e. I didn't go near the head/frenulum. Doing it that way almost feels too easy, but if I involve the head/frenulum I almost always lose by the 2nd round with/without lube.

What's a good balance to where it's beatable but not so easy that it's almost boring?

If it goes TOO far left (hugging the left edge), it becomes really distracting and hard to focus on both the beat and the scene. The person who was making the beatmeter versions of HMVs in the HMV thread had this issue. A good balance between the center and far left seems to work best, and I like where PS has it.

Well, not sure about tips but I just treat the beat bar as a guideline when I'm using an onahole. I do pay more attention to releases which have slower or more 'spaced out' beat-bars... but those that have faster increments can result in things getting a bit...raw.

Alternatively, you can make your own beat bar... and.. then produce your own faphero, there's plenty of demand.
