There's literally 2 attacks. A left click where you swing your sword and a right click AOE insta-kill with no restrictions on its use. There's 2 types of enemies throughout the all 3 levels and a boss at the end of each one

I wouldn't call the the animations high quality since doing so puts it in the same ballpark as stuff like rondo duo and that girlfriends 4 ever flash thing, but I think I see what you're going for in that it's easy to fap to.

It's weird. By every *technical* measure I can think of this game is completely shit. The textures look like they were built for an N64, we've established the quality of the combat, the movement is as robotic as you can get, the sword will just float in the air during certain sex scenes, the skybox is as bad as in the first half life, etc. The only stuff I'd say is decent is the animations and the character models, and the flaws in those sound pretty bad on paper. The player character seems to have no asshole, her vagina is basically just a cylinder, and model clipping during the sex scenes happens somewhere around once every 3 encounters (though it's never egregious, pic related is about as bad as it gets).
But I mean in spite of all this I liked it enough to not only have to hold back on fapping while playing, but also take 60 screenshots.

I have never played an H game before, wheres a good place to start for a total newbie

You both seem to be talking about kinetic visual novels. Those don't have any alternative endings at all. If you look at something like School Days or Ever17 (non-/h/, just an example of a novel with branching paths), those kinds of VNs have much more variation in routes.

There are some VNs with Gameplay. Kamidori Alchemy Meister or Bunny Black are Strategy RPGs with Hentai scenes. Eiyuu Senki has sex scenes as well, but those are cut out in the English release.

Pretty much all VNs should work using WINE (VNDB is comprehensive to find good ones) and Illusion games are pretty shitty under WINE except for Play Club or anything that uses Unity. When you need DirectX, 3D rendering (CM3D2 comes to mind), you are pretty much out of luck.

CM3D2 doesn't work. I get an error regarding csv.arc. The demo does work however.

DirectX for AA2 and a few other h-games works somewhat because DX is emulated by WINE but they are really slow and unreliable. Graphics particularly in most illusion games don't render properly.

I tried a lot of different 3D games and PlayClub is probably the only one that works consistently well. It might be because it uses a Unity engine but I am not sure. Certain mods you can't use in PlayClub or it would hard to implement (e.g., shaders) but pretty much a 1:1 experience with WINE.

This happens sometimes because Windows can't interpret garbage as a valid executable filename.

This is inaccurate, actually a lot of directx games works just as well in wine, trouble comes when some extensions or parts of DX aren't still implemented in wine.

Does anyone else find that HRPGs have more interesting game mechanics/balancing than regular RPGs?

For example, in Princess sacrifice, you get the strongest weapon in the game near the beginning, and the rest of the weapons you get are actually weaker, but more specialized (elemental damage, etc). The equipment all have pros/cons without any clearly superior items or simple straight upgrades (+10 DEF armor, +25 DEF armor, etc. in regular RPGs).
